Instrument Workshop

Repair, maintenance and setup of string instruments My instrument workshop is in Tornemark, between Næstved and Skælskør in south-west Zealand, Denmark. I originally started repairing and restoring guitars, but over the years the workshop has grown to cover almost every type of string instrument. After taking over Kontrabas.com and Planet Wing Pickups from Bjarne Ringsted, I expanded the workshop to include repair and maintenance of double basses, violins, cellos and other bowed instruments. Today I work on everything from guitars, banjos and mandolins to double basses and other string instruments, both acoustic and electric. Choose an instrument category below to see the repairs and adjustments I offer. Whether your instrument needs a major repair, a thorough setup or simply new strings, you are always welcome to contact me. If it needs a little care, I will be happy to help find the right solution so that it is a pleasure to play again. Michael Staun – Instrument Workshop, Tornemark
