A SEA OF SAILORS’ SONGS There is nothing quite like cheerful sea songs that everyone can sing along to! That is when you call SKIPPERLAKS: two professional, entertaining musicians, Michael Staun and Phil Nice. With musical confidence, charm and a twinkle in their eyes, they perform a wide selection of sea songs, including Otto Brandenburg’s timeless Susanne Birgitte og Hanne and Når en sailer går i land. Skipperlaks also performs songs by De Gyldne Løver, such as Ved hawet der er der så skønt, Jeg’ en træt gammel dreng and, of course, Hjemmebrænderiet. The audience is warmly invited to sing along to songs such as Jeg har en ven, en rigtig sailer and Four Jacks’ Mandalay. You may also hear The Drunken Sailor and Hvem kan segla forutan vind. Skipperlaks adapts to the occasion, performing either with its own sound system or entirely acoustically and on the move.
