Antique Tyrolean double bass, estimated to be around 200 years old. The instrument has undergone a complete restoration, including a new ebony fingerboard, bridge and tuning pegs. The body has been opened, inspected and reglued, and the neck has also been reglued. This is a 5/8-size double bass, slightly smaller than a standard 3/4-size instrument, but with a surprisingly full, rich and powerful bass sound. It is comfortable and easy to play, with a relatively lightweight construction. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
