Likely 1960s

Beautiful vintage archtop guitar by Arnold Hoyer, likely dating from the 1960s. Finished in classic black, this “Herr im Frack” model has a timeless jazz look and feel. The guitar is fully playable with a comfortable low action, making it easy to play across the neck. The frets are level with only light fret wear, and it has just been fitted with a fresh set of strings. The pickup is working perfectly and delivers a warm, vintage tone. There are some visible signs of use, including wear marks on the neck, consistent with its age. The guitar has also had a couple of repairs in the past – one crack on the side and one on the top. Both have been properly repaired and are now solid and stable, with no impact on playability. A great vintage instrument with character, ready to be played.
