World of Sounds Instruments โ Instruments with History and Soul
Discover Swedish Levin instruments, banjos, mandolins, mandolas, parlour guitars, archtops, steel-string acoustics, electric and Spanish guitars, and a special selection of left-handed instruments.
There is something special about an old musical instrument. Perhaps it has appeared on stage, played at countless celebrations or spent years tucked away in an attic. Every instrument has its own story, and that story is part of the fascination of World of Sounds Instruments.

My name is Michael Staun. I have spent many years working with music, musical instruments, repairs and restoration. World of Sounds Instruments brings together my love of music and craftsmanship with the pleasure of finding interesting instruments and giving them a new lease of life.
## Swedish Levin instruments โ a special passion
I have a particular interest in instruments made by the Swedish manufacturer Levin. My collection includes many Levin instruments, from acoustic guitars to other fascinating vintage string instruments. I appreciate their craftsmanship, construction and distinctive character.
## Banjos with history and personality
Banjos hold a special place at World of Sounds Instruments. I have a wide variety of banjos, including older vintage examples and more recent models. Whether your interest is old-time, bluegrass, traditional jazz or folk music, the banjo has a sound and personality all its own.

## Left-handed instruments
Another important speciality is left-handed instruments. Finding a good selection can be difficult, especially beyond the usual guitar models. I offer a range of left-handed acoustic and electric guitars as well as more unusual string instruments, including a traditional Indian sitar.
## A wide range of guitars and string instruments
You will also find mandolins and mandolas, charming parlour guitars, archtop guitars with roots in jazz and swing, steel-string acoustic guitars, electric guitars and Spanish nylon-string guitars. Other unusual instruments regularly find their way into the collection.

## Vintage instruments with character
Some instruments are almost like new; others show patina, wear and previous repairs. To me, that is not necessarily a disadvantage. An old instrument can proudly show that it has been used for what it was made for: playing music. What matters is describing its condition honestly.
## My instrument workshop in Tornemark
World of Sounds Instruments is closely connected to my workshop in Tornemark, Denmark, where I repair, maintain and adjust string instruments. There is something deeply satisfying about helping an old instrument become a joy to play again.
## Let the music live on
Musical instruments are made to be played. When an old Levin guitar, a banjo or another interesting instrument finds a new owner, a new chapter of its story begins.

World of Sounds Instruments โ because every instrument has a story, and the music should live on.
