My instrument workshop is located in Tornemark in southwest Zealand, within reach of Slagelse, Næstved, Skælskør, Sorø and Ringsted. It is a convenient location for musicians from different parts of Zealand who need repairs, adjustments or maintenance for their string instruments.

I welcome customers by appointment and am very flexible about finding a time that suits you. There are no fixed opening hours you need to work around. Just get in touch so we can arrange when you can drop off your instrument or visit to discuss a repair.

Guitar repair and restoration

I work on both acoustic and electric guitars. Services include repair and restoration, neck and string-action adjustments, improving playing comfort, fretwork, string changes, general maintenance and pickup installation.

Some guitars simply need a thorough setup, while others require more extensive work. I assess the condition of each instrument and discuss with you what makes sense to do.

Double bass, violin and cello

I also work with bowed string instruments. For double basses, this includes repairs, maintenance, bridge and string-height adjustments, improvements to playability, string changes and pickup installation.

I also repair, maintain and adjust violins and cellos, including bridge work, string-height adjustments and string changes. Fitting cello bridges is another part of my work, where precise contact and the correct height are essential to the instrument's performance.

Banjos, mandolins and other string instruments

Banjos and mandolins are a regular part of life in the workshop. I offer repairs and restoration, neck and action adjustments, fretwork, string changes and routine maintenance.

Flexible drop-off by appointment

I know that visiting a repair workshop can be difficult to fit around work, family and music. That is why I am flexible about receiving customers by prior appointment, whether they come from the immediate area, Slagelse, Næstved, Skælskør, Sorø, Ringsted or elsewhere in Zealand.

You can also send instruments to the workshop by post or courier, subject to prior agreement. Please contact me before shipping so we can discuss the work, secure packaging and transport in both directions.
